The Chronicles Of The Guardians (Part One)

Thousands of years ago at the dawn of man God saw that one day a great evil would come upon the earth. God decided than to create the guardians. People who would be endowed with special abilities. For thousands of years these guardians have been watching and waiting. Passing on there knowledge to each generation that came after them. Till now.

Evil has arisen people have become consumed by greed and want for power. The sky has turned black like ashes the demons have come. I am the ascended guardian the leader and teacher. I had been preparing for this day for the past few years gathering up all the guardians I can find. Each one of us has a special ability something unique to them so far I had found ten guardians.

James he can control the four elements earth,fire,water and wind. Katherine (we call her Kat for short) she can see the future and is an empath and has the power of telekineses. Mike he is a strong and brave warrior familiar in all martial arts his weapon of choice is the sword. William is a werewolf and has all the benefits of one. Jennifer or Jen as we call her is a cunning warrior, she can generate knives from her hand and throw them. and she can see anyones past present and future. Melissa is a vampire. She can hold her ground in any battle and has all the benefits of a vampire. She feeds only on animals or the occasional annoying guy.


Then theres Jack he is the brain he knows everything about everything, he has a medical doctorate and about a dozen other Ph d's in god knows what. Then theres Abraham or Abie for short. He is a kung-fu master and he has masted chi the life force around all of us. He can throw energy balls become indestructible among other things. He also has bipolar disorder and is currently in a institution for a suicide attempt. Than there Kassandra or Kassie for short as we call her, her heart is pure and brings balance to all of us. She tempers us she is our moral compass and she has lighting fast speed and has wings so she can fly and she can control electricity

Than theres me Jake I am the ascended one. During ascension one reaches the highest possible plain of existence there all knowledge flows. I became an entity capable of changing reality and turning back time and bringing back the dead. I came back into my human form over 500 years ago though I still get all the powers of an ascended being and I can command his angels I can use my powers only in the most dire of circumstances or when necessary. I am the teacher and leader of our ragtag group. My weapon of choice is the staff.


A bright flash of light appears next to me. “Hey guys”. “Abie I didn't know you could teleport”.
“Yeah I can Jake”. “Well at least we don't have to bust you out of that place”. I take my staff and raise it. “Gather around people. As you all know the day we have been dreading has arrived the darkness has come. People everywhere are in terror the sky is turning black and his demonic legions have arrived”.


“We must fight them first we take back our city our Chicago once we take it back then we can turn into a safe haven for all those fleeing the darkness and we can turn it into a gathering point and training camp for any other guardians out there”.





“Guardians let us take off”. Brit took to the skies, William went werewolf and started running fast, Mary running just as fast but on the opposite side of the vehicle that I was ridding in, Jack had built it and was riding in it to. So was Mike Jen and Kat. James was riding the a wave of earth behind the battle tank that we were in . Abie was flying in the skies using his chi.


In the center of the city we saw them It was Uza and Azazel leading the demonic army of 1000 demons. Uza and Azazel are the last of the nephlim, the fallen ones. They were the angels who said they could handle being human and they mated with the daughters of man creating a race of giants. God wiped all of them out during the flood except Uza and Azazel who hide in the gates of the underworld the gates of hell if you will.


I knew we could beat them. “Jack you stay here and mann the tank and its guns”. “Ok Jake”
“Guardians attack”. Jen and Mike flew out of the vehicle Mike in his all white ninja uniform with his samurai sword on his back and Jen with her knives. William and Melissa took the left side, Jen was on the right and Mike on the left as well. Kat quickly flipped into the middle throwing demons left and right with her telekineses. James came charging in down the middle throwing balls of earth and fire into demon after demon. Kassie and Abie descended from the skies Kassie throwing balls of electricity and Abie throwing balls of energy. They both descended and landed in the rear of the group.


I flew into the air “Uza, Azazel your mine”. I landed on the rooftop of a building where the two were standing. “Jack go to the left take the tank and help Jen”. I saw the tank move. “Ok where were we”. I put my staff in one of my hands held it up. “Uza, Azazel come get me”. I motioned with my free hand for them to attack me. There eyes turned pitch black “I'm going to finish what God started all those years ago”. They flew at me each one of them carrying an Angelfire sword. Angelfire swords are sword given to the angels they can penetrate almost anything and are quite deadly they are also one of the few weapons capable of killing an angel.


As they flew at me I hit each one of them on the side knocking them down. I rolled over to Uza's sword which had fallen from his hand. I grabbed it and quickly beheaded him. He turned into a pile of dust. I then threw the sword at Azazel it sliced through his shoulder. He let out a demonic yell.
He quickly charged at me slicing a massive gash from my shoulder to my hip. I took my staff and swept it under his knees. He fell to the ground. I shoved the staff into his neck breaking it. He then turned into a pile of dust.


The only thing that remained of his was his Angelfire sword he had dropped it when I swept him to the ground. I fell to the ground my blood was everywhere. “Jack”, I called to him telepathically
“please come up to the roof when you have a chance I am wounded”. I saw a big flash and I heard many demonic screams. I knew it we had won the day the city would now be sanctuary.





Abie transported all the guardians to the roof. “We did it we have created a sanctuary to which all guardians can flee to as well as any innocents”. “Great jobs everyone” I coughed up some blood.

“Jack can you please fix me and I have an Angelfire sword can you graft the Angelfire to my staff”?
“Sure Jake let me fix you first though” he began to bandage my wounds. “I thought Ascended Guardians couldn't get hurt”. Jen said “Hey I didn't do bad for a man of 533”. “I know even though I have youthful body and features I am still 533”. Darkness is covering the sky the war has just begun.
